Frank, D. (2000), provided a detailed case study of the interactions between bahasa Madura and bahasa Javanese with the objective of finding the loss of Madurese language and in achieving a more Javanese form of Madurese. However, he also stated that in the Indonesian state itself and government, the language of instruction is bahasa Madura. There is no means that the use of the language of instruction is a means of language loss. Thus, the judgment on the language loss is not absolute. The significant measure of language loss is in the area of education and learning, in which some features of the language are unproductive, a disadvantage to the task, but not the language itself. The study of Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra shows that the use of bahasa Madura as a medium of instruction is in progress and can be acknowledged as a medium of instruction. Unfortunately, Madurese is not being used in the literature or in the media. It is generally considered a language that is the mother of other Madurese languages. In addition, I discovered that only few scholars have used Madurese as a medium of instruction. 3d9ccd7d82
